My Day

It was surprisingly light out when I woke up; I was able to sleep in a few hours. I went down stairs, opened the cupboard, ate some cereal and turned on the t.v. Around 9:20 am I hopped in my Jeep and drove to school. My second period class was weight training, and since today is Thursday we played "speed ball". Towards the end of the class we left the wrestling room, to lift some weights in the weight room. Immediately afterwards I was in Ms. Salisbury's ABP class, here I work intensively hard on my landscaping business plan. After class was over, I had mandatory lunch films to attend. Lunch films are when the football team (all players who have that lunch) meet in the locker room to watch our opponent. Watching film is necessary if you want to be a successful football team, for it shows what offence and defensive front they run, who their players are, and what they do good and what they struggle to do as a team. Last class of the day was FST, unfortunately math is really hard for me, though I still try. School ended at 2:50, I went to the locker room, changed into my football clothes and left for practice. During practice we went over special teams, defensive plays, and offensive plays. Practice ended around 5:40, very early for practice. As today was Thursday tradition of Tualatin football players are to attend team dinners.

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight

This film had a suspenseful plot, action scenes, and a great acting crew. This film was influential to me because I grew up with superheroes and comic books; this movie changed my perspective of how I viewed those typical superhero movies. The Joker played by Heath Ledger really engages the audience, making you feel like the movie is non-fiction. He interacts with the audience by his stage presence: wearing intimidating makeup, his slandering remarks, and his ruthlessness. My favorite scene in the movie was when joker introduced himself to the mob, using the pen trick. The pen trick shows Joker’s willingness to undertake extreme events to satisfy his desired outcome.
